THE PROS AND CONS OF BLOGGING

I feel that there are many pros and cons of blogging. So im going to name them one by one and describe why is that so.

Firstly, i think it is a good way of keeping in contact with your friends. You write about your life, and your friends will be able to see what you've done that faitheful day. It is a perfect way of keeping friends and family up to date. They can know about you without actually having to ask you about your life.

Blogging can also help you to make friends. Especially those that share similar views and interests. Even if you make friends that does not live in Singapore, you will still be elated that people reads your blog and ends up being your friend!

It is also a good tool to promote yourself and tell things about yourself people don't often really see. This way, others may find out the reason for why you're acting so differently and will not outcast you anymore. This is definitely a PRO.

Blogging can also be a way to get your brain juice working. You can put all your creative ideas into the blog but no one will be there to mark the mistakes in it. This way, you can let out all your feelings without being critisized and bottle up your feelings inside and hurt yourself.

The CONS:
If you start a blog, post two or three entries and then quit, it’s not much of a blog. Unfortunately blogging requires some long-term commitment for it to have real value as a communication tool.

Blogging takes time and if you don’t limit it, you could find that other essential daily tasks get neglected and your work is affected negatively. You would not be as efficient than when you did not have a blog.

As a creative process, blogging requires you to dream up fresh content on a regular basis. You might often find that you simply don’t feel like blogging. If you give in to that feeling, your blog will die a slow and quiet death. Once this sets in, the PROS of blogging will not be of any use if you do not blog.
